Our Story

In 2018, at an academic conference in Vancouver, Canada, the co-founders, then graduate students
met and discussed the need to harness the immerse intellectual capital abroad for the
development of the African continent. We were convinced that in the 21st Century, Africa’s
most critical resource is not the gold, oil or diamond mines but the creative minds of her
most highly train people. Africa Mind Mine was conceived in our minds and hearts that day.
Seven years on, we are excited to see the birth of this global network of Africa’s brightest
